Director of Construction
Dave is a Certified Construction Professional. He has been with James Craig Builders since 2000 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in construction management.
Dave is a talented carpenter, and he specializes in assessing placement of home foundations, site-work preparation, and excavation. Dave keeps our customers informed of their construction progress and is extremely effective at offering creative solutions.

Troy is a Certified Construction Professional with more than ten years of new home building experience.
Prior to joining the James Craig team, he managed the construction operations of a top-25 builder and also owned and operated a painting and staining company for 15 years.
Troy provides a positive experience for our customers by keeping them apprised of their home status from start to finish.
After graduating from Waukesha County Technical College with a degree in Architectural Drafting, Tyler began his official career at James Craig Builders. Tyler has been working in and learning the business since he was 15 years old and is now taking charge on new home projects including overseeing remodeling and lower level finishing projects. Learning from the ground up has given him a great opportunity to observe every aspect of the business: from digging the foundation to putting the final touches on our customers' homes. Tyler loves seeing a home transition from rough framing to the finishing stage. He looks forward to helping customers create the home of their dreams and making sure they love their James Craig Home.
Vivian is an important part of our office team. She efficiently handles customer paperwork, and she is responsible for processing customers’ selections, change orders and statements.
Vivian’s attention to detail makes our construction operation run smoothly.
Allison is the Marketing Coordinator and a New Home Sales consultant at James Craig Builders. Allison graduated from UW-Whitewater with degrees in Journalism and Marketing.
She not only develops marketing materials, documents and photographs completed homes, hosts customer events, and maintains contact with our customers, but also helps our customers design their new homes. She enjoys listening to and helping them make their dreams into reality!

Jean has 23 years of experience in new construction sales.

Brenda, our on-staff design consultant, has over 16 years of experience. Brenda loves working with our customers to ensure their homes are representative of who they are.
She makes certain a customer’s personality and style show through in the design process – from counter tops and paint colors, to lighting and tile selection.
Bill Tatman, CPA
VP of Finance
Bill's professional contribution to our customers' projects is a steady persistence in the auditing of all contract and change order dollars.
Bill is our expert link to the Title Company for all projects. Our customers' closing statements are well reviewed and very easy to comprehend, and there aren't any surprises because our customers are kept informed about the cost of their new homes throughout construction.
Jeff has been fortunate enough to work for 25+ years with some exceptional people, helping them transform ideas into homes of timeless beauty. He fully invests himself in all of his design projects.
His underlying goal is to create spaces that change lives, invite harmony, and inspire others. He has an appreciation for quality which guides every home design from start to finish.
Most importantly, he believes in creating and involving our clients in the design process. Together, they create a new home design or make modifications to an existing model plan that our clients will love to call HOME.
